Uninteresting observations

Since starting on my walking 'regime', I have made some quite uninteresting observations.

I walk every weekday morning. The same route (if not flooded). At the same time every day.

1. Young walkers never say 'morning'. There are exceptions of course, but generally they will never look at you, and *may* reply to a 'morning' if you are lucky.
2. Older walkers are friendly. All acknowledging your existence especially one old couple I see just about every morning, and even if we are at a distance, a wave is the go.
3. Weird clouds of bugs seem to gravitate to you and then surround you for most of the walk. Even breaking into a short run seems to only give you a brief reprieve while they catch up again.
4. I sometimes wish I had a decent camera. Sometimes the view is quite beautiful or an uncommon bird is able to be shot.
5. Most people walk on a Wednesday. Virtually nobody walks on a Friday.
6. Some people walk faster than I can run. I must set a trap for these specimens so I can find out how they do it.
7. Even at 5:30 am, there is a heap of traffic on the road !
8. Walking in the early morning is not a good thing if you are an arachnophobe. Crashing into an unseen spider web is not pleasant at all.
